Your AI is an introvert (here's how to fix that)

Turn ChatGPT from a writing tool into your personal council of genius

Hey—It’s Mohammad.

Another 11 pm night. We’re talking about AI but not DeepSeek.

Your AI is an introvert (here's how to fix that)

Read Time: 4.8 minutes

Let's talk about AI.

But first, we need to address the elephant in the room:

You're probably using it wrong. (I was too.)

Here's what most people do:

They treat AI like an Introverted Intern who does work.

They type things like:

  • "Make this sound better"

  • "Improve this writing"

  • "Fix this paragraph"

Basic stuff. And it kind of works.

But Basic prompts = Basic responses = No improvements.

Want to know what's wild?

It's not about making AI smarter.

It's about making it more diverse.

Let me explain...

Remember those legendary mastermind groups?

  • The Vagabonds: Edison, Ford, and Firestone meeting to challenge thinking

  • Franklin's Junto: Transforming ideas through systematic questioning

  • The Vienna Circle: Revolutionizing scientific thought

Their secret? They weren't just groups.

They were councils of diverse perspectives.

It’s about having conversations with AI.

I tried all the usual stuff. Better prompts. Fancier templates.

But nothing moved the needle.

Then I tried something different.

Instead of one AI voice, I created a council of minds:

  1. Warren Buffett & Charlie Munger - For focusing on value

  2. Ted Chiang & Aaron Sorkin - For compelling storytelling

  3. David Whyte - For deep structure and flow

  4. Michio Kaku - For depth of argument

  5. Eminem & NF - For rhythm and flow

Instead of asking AI to "fix" my writing...

I had conversations.

Real, deep conversations with each perspective.

The results after 1 month? Mind-blowing.

  • 47%-->52.11% Newsletter open rates

  • 44% increase in LinkedIn impressions

  • 23% higher LinkedIn engagement

But here's the really interesting part:

It wasn't just about better metrics.

The insights got deeper. The arguments got stronger. The readers got more engaged.

Here's what these conversations actually look like:

Basic Prompt: "Make this introduction better"
Result: It does it for me.

Mastermind Approach:

Me: "Give me feedback on my essay from different perspectives, how would you structure this to create emotional depth?"
Result: In-depth conversation between me and the AI from multiple perspectives.

The difference is one is an intern doing the work for you while the other is a guide to help you become better.

Building your own AI Mastermind:

  1. Choose Your Council (5-15 personas):

    • Innovation Council: Edison, Da Vinci, Jobs, Curie, Hopper

    • Finance Council: Sun Tzu, Machiavelli, Carnegie, Drucker, Buffett

    • Creative Council: Shakespeare, Mozart, Picasso, Woolf, Wright

  2. Define Their Roles Give each one:

    • Unique perspective

    • Specific expertise

    • Success patterns

  3. Get Individual Views:

    • Present your challenge

    • Let each persona analyze separately

    • Document their insights

  4. Synthesize Their Wisdom (This is where the magic happens.)

But watch out for these traps:

  1. Don't be passive

    • Wrong: "Make it better"

    • Right: Have actual dialogues

  2. Don't pick random names

    • Wrong: "Famous people I know”

    • Right: "Expertise I need"

  3. Don't just collect opinions

    • Wrong: Making a list

    • Right: Finding patterns

Here's the real power move:

Imagine combining:

  • Shakespeare's storytelling skills

  • Steve Jobs's vision & strategy

  • Marcus Aurelius's leadership

  • Marie Curie's precision

  • Edison's persistence

All focused on your specific challenge.

That's not just AI.

That's an AI Mastermind.
